MathXplorer/WW, MathViews ActiveX Control for Wonderware FactorySuite 2000, allows you to perform complex numerical analysis, signal processing and 3D graphics.

This application is using MathXplorer/WW to simulate a signal corrupted by noise. MathXplorer/WW is used to perform spectral analysis (using the fast Fourier transform - FFT) and to estimate the signal spectrum.

While running the application

Change the frequency slider and notice how the signal frequency is changing in the time and frequency domains.
Increase the noise level and note how the spectrum analysis is able to estimate the main signal component and its frequency.
