MathXplorer/T Tutorials

MathXplorer/T augments Tcl's powerful capabilities. The hybrid of Tcl and MathViews makes it possible to write computationally efficient scripts, and cleanly separate and interface the two languages. We used the following typographical conventions in our tutorials to better distinguish Tcl and MathViews code:

Tcl scripts are black	`puts "hi mom"`
Tcl results are in brown	`hi mom`
MathViews scripts are in purple	`x=[ 1 : 10 ]`

interactive session -- illustrates the relationship among MathViews interpreters, graph widgets, and the eeval() function.
matrix inverse patterns -- illustrates the creation of Tcl lists from MathViews variables.
color-coded demo -- shows the script used in the demo application bundled with the MathXplorer/T distribution. The text is coded according to the table above.
