The Java RMI client applet is now loading. Please be patient. Due to Internet latencies, slow connections, firewalls or ISP bottlenecks this Java application may require minutes to load. You will not experience these delays with MathXplorer/JS installed on your Intranet. Once the screens are loaded, data access is fast. Please read these instructions while it is loading.
This applet demonstrates the use of a remote MathXplorer/JS server for carrying out numerical computations. The left plot shows a signal whose frequency is modulated linearly. The right plot shows the power spectrum of the signal. The signal and its power spectrum are parameterized by three variables, controlled using the sliders. The applet itself does none of the required numerical computations. Instead, the applet requests that a remote MathXplorer/JS server perform the computations on its behalf. Once the results of the computation are available, the applet extracts them from the server and plots them.
